Coronavirus Spring

Coronavirus Spring

No Noise, Peace at last

Sunny Spring Sunday

No cars, no boats, no planes

And no people

Not sure I like peace like this

Bring back the noise.

You’ve done it again – read my mind! I miss the noise too. And the castles. I reckon this verse sums up what most of us are feeling right now. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m glad to see that we’re still on the same wavelength, but then, you know what they say about great minds Ali ๐Ÿ™‚
I never thought I would miss some things as much as I do, but it’s probably been easier for me than many others.

Great minds, indeed. It may be a more straightforward situation for some, but even still, this has been incredibly hard on everyone.

I bet you don’t miss having to do the school run though. I do hope Maddie finds a way to get the rewards she deserves.

Yes, I have to admit the car is getting a well-earned rest. Fingers crossed for Maddie’s results though – goodness only know what’ll happen there. ๐Ÿ™‚

As you say, fingers crossed. Stay safe and hopefully we’ll be able to get out and about again before too long. I won’t be taking any chances that’s for sure ๐Ÿ™‚

Hola Malc! Yes, by all means, bring back the noise!!! Great poem my friend, says it all! We’ve 18 days to go and also a beautiful 20 degree day! Marvelous for the beach! But it is all for the better good…we see today what the EU says about relief for the people…take good care and all the best,

Hola Francisco. Thanks for checking out my few words about the eerie situation we’re in. I hope that you’re coping well. It sounds as though Spain could have hit its peak now. I hope that’s true. There is a danger though that even if it’s true that people may start to become complacent. Take care whatever you do..I’ll be having a glass of red for you later. Salud ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you Malc, we have been going down in cases now for five days, weโ€™re on the downward slope but still quarantined until 26 APR…I hope that after that the government will allow us to go out to at least get some exercise and fresh air…and the children in my building are going nuts! They need to be let out. Of course the bars wonโ€™t open and people must still mind their social distance but I think weโ€™ve learned to be careful and to protect ourselves. But yer absolutely right, we cannot be too careful, no one wants to get killed on the last day of the war. Stay well my friend and Iโ€™ll raise a glass to you as well.
        ๐Ÿป ๐Ÿฅ‚ cheers!

Thinking of you as I am for everyone. Before Covid-19 my glass started to dip into half-empty rather than half-full which is unusual for me. But do you know what? my personal circumstances are improving and I’m hoping after we all get through this ordeal that the world can become a better place and my glass is filling up again. I hope you’ll drink to that my friend. Salud
