At least I know what ‘Braw’ means, and it seems like this post has prompted a few memories for you. The good thing is that even though the Arcade may have gone, then maybe the Keillor Centre opens up new opportunities.
]]>It had Dundee’s Petticost Lane on the banner. It was braw. The other great place here was the Arcade which was under the Caird Hall. Oh my was that a place to go as a kid. Just amazing and home to anything and everything. But again alas…… So they offered the traders a market in the newly opened TX Max. I say no more. Then they decanted them to the newly built Keillor Centre….. Again I say nothing. (Except now it is a music and drama place we hope to rerun Halflins in it.)

]]>Confirmation of her good taste. There’s just something about a market and yeah you are right sometimes it is not that cheap. There used to be this indoors one in Dens Road here and you got an epic rummage there AND it was all cheap. It was in an old jute mill. Alas, it is closed now.
