A Song for Sunday 2 – Bread/Make It With You
They were epic. So many great songs.
They did some great songs and David Gates had the perfect voice for them.
I know. I looked the list online and like that I had forgotten this one and that one. They did so many.
It’s easy to forget how many good songs they did Shey.
I had totally forgotten Guitar Man. I have the single somewhere!
Those were the days when we went out and bought records at a record shop
Abso. We all mind the first time we did that and what we bought too. There was something about a record in your hands. We have a player and a load of oldies.
I’ve still got some old records but no record player
We bought one. There’s just somethin re vinyll records.

I can understand that Jo. I have similar thoughts with your Monday Walks as I can’t walk very far at all these days.
It’s slowly overtaking me too, Malc. A bunch of us over 70s are going out to an estuary this morning to search, slowly and carefully, for wild orchids. You find joy where you can.
Quite right Jo. You just have to try and adapt as well as you can.
That’s definitely my era and an excellent choice!

It sounds like the perfect Sunday stroll. The weather down here was grim and a perfect day for doing nothing much. Nothing new there then 🙂
It was a rare fair day here as we’ve also had a lot of grim weather, so we took advantage of the chance to be out and stay dry and un-windswept! 🙂 Otherwise, we’d have had a nothing much day too
