Friday Night is Music Night 1
There’s a bronze star for those of you who can name the artist, a silver for anyone who can name the country the artist is associated with – and gold for the person who can name the island in the photograph. It’s an old image I scanned from a transparency, but I hope it doesn’t detract too much from this wonderful ‘island in the sun’. 😊

I’m sorry you couldn’t hear the music Pat as that was the point of the post LOL. Google ‘Island in the Sun’ to find the music if you feel like it but you’re right, it is Greece. I’ll divulge the name of the island over the weekend.

Demis Roussos (aka ‘the singing tent!’) – Happy to Be on an Island in the Sun from 1975. An absolute dream of a song and one of my favourites from back then, though I can’t name the island as I’ve never been to Greece. Thanks for the chill out 😊
