I love this song. I hadn’t heard Eva sing it. I have an Edith Piaf version. This is lovely. Such a short life.

It is what makes this version so poignant. Such talent.
I couldn’t agree more Shey. I gather she was a shy person who really didn’t want to be in the limelight, and no doubt the reason why nobody knew much about her until after she died.

Ah, Eva Cassidy! Yes, a phenomenal singer who lamentably went too soon. Thanks Malc, I am enjoying the video.
Glad you were able to see it in the end Francesc. It must be something to with the laws between the US, the EU and the UK now that we’re not in the EU.
Sounds like that could be it Malc. But I enjoyed the video (and watched others of her singing) and I had forgotten about her, so it was wonderful to hear her music and her phenomenal voice again.
At least the memories her talent lives on Francesc.
